Senior Pastor
William Loke
Pastoring God’s people for over 20 years, Reverend William Loke serves as BOL(S)’s current Senior Pastor. In 2012, he heeded the call to give himself fully to the ministry of BOL(S) and has since been leading the church to fulfil its mission: To Build God’s Family, and to Make Disciples of Godly Character. He preaches regularly on Saturday’s English services, as well as once a month for Chinese Service on Sundays.
Reverend William is also the Executive Director of Bethesda Care Services (BCS), a charity arm that blesses the community in Bedok through elderly services and student care. He also volunteers and leads as the Captain of the Boy’s Brigade Primers in ITE College East.
An active and energetic leader, he enjoys organizing various outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking for church members, promoting healthy living and fellowshipping. He is also happily married and has two daughters.
Chinese Ministry Lead Pastor
John Tan
Reverend John Tan has served as a missionary for 14 years in South East Asia, blessing the communities in Thailand, Myanmar and Taiwan. In 2021, he returned to Singapore, and accepted the call to lead BOL(S)’s chinese ministry.
With his experience and expertise in the missions field, he trains and equips the church congregation to grow in God’s word, understand God’s heartbeat for the nations, and gives guidance to our Short-Term Mission Teams in their service for God’s kingdom.
Reverend John also creates various opportunities for the development of the congregation, inviting guest speakers to preach / conduct discipleship programmes, and is passionate about setting up Revival Prayer Groups in the church. In his leisure time, he enjoys cycling and gardening.
Chinese Ministry Lay Pastor
Xiao Hua
Pastor Xiao Hua has served in BOL(S) as a lay pastor for close to 25 years, and has journeyed with many members in different seasons of their lives. She has a heart to provide pastoral care, support and encouragement to those with life difficulties, tough seasons, hurts and pains.
An extremely prayerful leader, Pastor Xiao Hua attends to her pastoral duties with much intercession, and gives extra care to those in difficult circumstances. Home and hospital visits are a frequent part of her ministry, and many have been blessed by her warm concern. She is also very active in BOL(S)’s healing ministry.
A member of BOL(S)’s worship flag dance team, Pastor Xiao Hua assists in choreographing flag dances as part of the church’s worship sessions. She also enjoys spending personal quiet time in parks and nature.
CHILDREN, Youth & Young Adult Pastor
Dellia Teo
Pastor Dellia Teo accepted the call as a full-time pastor in 2021, supporting the church in providing pastoral care to children, youths and young adults. She has always been recognized as a motherly figure to many church youths, yet also as a friend, due to her youthful energy and patient listening ear.
In her working experiences prior to pastoring, Dellia is a well-known veteran in the Training and Development space for over 10 years. She is certified in various lifeskills concepts such as different Personality Tools, The Leadership Challenge, and has obtained WSQ advanced certificates in Learning & Performance. She is also currently taking a degree in Counselling to further equip herself in meeting the felt needs of church members.
In her free time, Pastor Dellia enjoys the outdoors, as well as spending time her husband and three sons. She also frequently invites the church youths over to her own home for fellowship and bonding.
Staff Team
Church Accountant
Michelle Chew
Michelle Kris Chew grew up in BOL(S) since her teenage years, attending service alongside her parents and has journeyed with the church through her youth and young adult seasons. In 2017, she decided to apply and joined the staff team as a full-time accountant.
Besides her work duties, Michelle is also a leader in the youth ministry, giving care and support to church teens. She strives to be a positive Christlike influence, continuously seeking to improve as an encourager in the lives of the youths. She also has a heart for missions work and has served the communities of Batam and Cambodia on short-term trips.
Currently, Michelle is starting a new journey of parenthood with a newborn baby girl, alongside her beloved husband Timothy.
Ministry Staff
John Teh
John Teh has been an active volunteer in church since he accepted Christ in 2010. In BOL(S), he has served as a youth leader, a teacher in the children’s church, as well as operational and logistical support for church events. With close to 10 years of working experience as various roles in the Youth Development space, he hoped to use the skillsets acquired to serve God’s church directly.
In 2022, he decided to apply for the role of ministry staff. His duties include supporting the Pastoral Team in organizing church events, maintaining church operations, and managing volunteers.
In his free time, John serves in the Boy’s Brigade Primers of ITE College East as an officer. He also enjoys doing various sports, such as rock climbing and badminton.
